MISSION STATEMENT
To provide programs which provide safety and security for members of the communities in which we serve. While we provide services for all, we are especially dedicated to those who are most vulnerable in our society.

The Alliance needs to raise

$324 per day, or

$1.60 per citizen each year,

to keep our programs running.

* Counseling and referrals for the abuser
* Referrals for emergency housing, food, and legal support
* Support groups
* Advocacy for legal, medical, and social services
* Support and advocacy for children effected by violence, and/or stalking
* Relocation and employment assistance
* Education regarding domestic violence, parenting, assertiveness, community resources, and more.
* Information, referrals, and assistance in filing under the Protection From Abuse Act & the Protection From Stalking Act
* Information and assistance in filing for Victim Compensation.
* Caring people who will listen, help, and be supportive
* Community education
* Rape Crisis Advocates available 24 hours a day
* Outreach Program
* Police Response Advocacy Program
* Case Management
* Adolescent anger management
* Parenting Classes
* Southern County Satellite Shelter
* Sexual Assault Center
* Play Therapy
* Substance Abuse Counseling for Victims
* Child Forensic Interviews

The AAFV is the only agency in Leavenworth County that provides services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and/or stalking and we run the only 24-hour local crisis line. The AAFV is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1984 to provide a safe place for victims of domestic violence to stay.
